Project Description < br /> Because this was my first timber frame project I used white pine and I was surprised how easy it was to cut the logs and prepare the mortise and tenon. My large scarf joint was a challenge and a lot of measuring over and over again before cutting because the nice 12"x8"-14 timbers were not easy to find.
