The material for this table was milled from a single urban salvaged redwood log that was 16 feet long and 30 inches in diameter. The goal was to build a table large enough to comfortably seat an entire family for a meal or gathering. This table should seat approximately 20 people. This sort of yield from a single log is only possible with the thin kerf of the Woodmizer bandsaw mill.
15.5' long, 4' wide at the top.
Table will sell for $4500 and the lumber cost would have been around $2000. I paid $0 for the tree so 100% savings.
