when my came and said he wanted a cabin build using as much local material as possible. with a woodmizer thats not a problem all the logs were harvested from the distant mountain range. its build with 2x6 walls and log siding to get a great energy efficient home. the rafters are lodge pole pine beetle killed and log siding and boards are douglas fir.
