Our daughter, who lives on the Hawaii island of Kauai, asked if I could make a 48" round, island themed epoxy/maple burl table top for them. The 2" thick, book matched slabs from a maple burl I milled with my LT40 mill formed the basis of the 48 inch round,1.5 inch thick table top.
