In 2011, chasing a boyhood dream, I set out with little knowledge and an LT40 Woodmizer. I watched every Woodmizer video and any cabin milling I could get my hands on. With the help of friends and family, we harvested all the pine timber from the 10 acre cabin parcel, and maple/oak for the cabinets on a second family woods. We worked weekends when time and funds allowed. Building the cabin without borrowing money took longer, but made it more satisfying in the end. My Woodmizer mill turned a dream into reality.
